Bert (8 years old, male), Elias (7 years old, male) & Alexa (2 years old, female)

Bert, Elias and Alexa are siblings.  All three children are very active and love soaking up attention from their parents (with whom they live and are very bonded). The family is struggling financially and their mother cannot afford to get them much, if anything, for Christmas.  I asked parents to fill out what their children wanted for Christmas and she hardly put down anything.  When I called her, she said, "well I didn't want to be greedy!" Alexa loves to sing “The Elmo Song.”  Her brothers say that she loves ice cream.  Alexa loves to help her mother in the kitchen and has her own step stool so she can help with the dishes.   Berthold says he likes to eat a lot. He enjoys video games and likes to do kart wheels. Elias likes to play games. Berthold says Elias likes to wear funny costumes.  Berthold and Elias are dedicated to school and always complete their homework. The children are loving to each other and are respectful to their mother. They say, they have been on “the nice list” for Santa this year. Bert's favorite color is red; Elias' favorite colors are blue and purple. Their little sister is a girly girl; her favorite color is pink and she loves to play dress-up.
