Family A: please forgive the lack of personalization. Part of what I have loved about Brunch With A Purpose is using the children's real first names. However, Brunch has grown so much and we're helping some small counties so it would be too obvious to list their real names and I have to protect their confidentiality.  

These four boys live with their mother, who raises them entirely on her own. She has dealt with substance abuse in the past but recently has done absolutely amazingly and maintained her sobriety. Their mother wrote the following about her sons:

Child A1 is the oldest in the family and has been through so much with his mother. He was removed from her home and for a little bit, didn't want to come back home. He has since been reunited with his mother. He has been trying to locate his father and after 12 years, finally found him and met him. But he was devastated when his father rejected him and did not want to have a relationship with him. But despite his disappointment, he is a sweet boy who is very protective of his family. He is very into clothes so that's most of his wish list!

Child A2 was also removed from his mother's care but recently reunified with her. He has never met his dad. He is very sweet, has a huge heart, and is very protective of his family. He loves video games!

Child A3, like his brothers, has also been through a lot. His is a calm, quiet boy who mostly keeps to himself. He loves stuffed animals and pillow pets. He treats them as if they were real babies and if they get a hole in them, he cries and wants it sewn up immediately. That's a perfect example of how soft-hearted he is.

Child A4 has lots of energy. He wants to be just like his oldest brother when he grows up. He is the baby in the family and loves to cuddle. He has a bright personality that makes people fall in love with him.
