Family F: again, please forgive the lack of personalization. Part of what I have loved about Brunch With A Purpose is using the children's real first names. However, Brunch has grown so much and we're helping some small counties so it would be too obvious to list their real names and I have to protect their confidentiality.

Family F is one of the most deserving families we've ever worked with for Brunch With A Purpose. This is a family in which the grandparents have custody of their 2 grandchildren (ages 14 and 11). The grandfather was seriously injured in a debilitating accident in 2001. He is unable to work, and receives a very modest monthly compensation. His wife, age 63, works hard to support the family as a housekeeper. However, low wages, healthcare needs of her husband, and raising her 2 grandchildren make it hard to pay their bills. The family is in need of help to provide the necessities for their grandchildren, however are always so giving to others and concerned about the needs of others.
